Kate leads with heart, empathy, and a relentless commitment to justice. As founder of Rise Above Strategies, she works to correct historical inequities that drive disparity in the workplace, unlocking the potential that arises when women and people of color are fully seen and supported.  In addition to her 25 years of electoral, advocacy and movement building experience, Kate helps women founders and partnerships turn successful businesses into valuable companies by aligning strategy, team, and financial systems so they can grow with confidence or exit on their terms. Kate’s superpower lies in her deep connection to people—she is energized by human connection and driven by a desire to help others reclaim joy and purpose. Growing up with physical and learning differences, Kate developed a profound resilience and compassion that now infuses her work. Her career is shaped by personal and professional milestones leading to victories in strategic social impact strategies at mass scale.
